This exhibition tells the story of the emergence of Singapore as a global hub port and an international maritime centre. It traces the evolution of Maritime Singapore from its origins as a colonial trading post to a major hub in the global economy. 

The maritime ecosystem has also developed in tandem. It now provides facilities and services that extend beyond just the port. 

This exhibition spans five zones and traces the development of the multi-faceted environment that is Maritime Singapore. People, technology and heritage are showcased in each of the zones.
